Logan County EMS serves the 1, 073 sq mile area of Logan County as well as parts of Thomas and Gove Counties. We run 3 ambulances (2 in Oakley and 1 in Winona). As of September 2025, Oakley EMS employs 1 full time paramedic, 1 full time EMT, 5 volunteer AEMTs, and 16 volunteer EMTs. Winona EMS has 1 AEMT and 3 EMTs who all volunteer their time. 

 

Services Provided Include:

• Interfacility transfers for patients needing higher levels of care to facilities such as Wichita, KS, Topeka, KS, Salina, KS, Kansas City, MO, Omaha, NE and Denver, CO among others.

• Heartsaver First Aid and CPR classes and skills check offs-helping our community stay prepared for emergencies. We have certified employees from the hospital, schools, and the Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center-ensuring they are trained and confident in lifesaving skills.
