EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM
Logan County EMS serves the 1, 073 sq mile area of Logan County as well as parts of Thomas and Gove Counties. We run 3 ambulances (2 in Oakley and 1 in Winona). As of September 2025, Oakley EMS employs 1 full time paramedic, 1 full time EMT, 5 volunteer AEMTs, and 16 volunteer EMTs. Winona EMS has 1 AEMT and 3 EMTs who all volunteer their time.
Services Provided Include:

Interfacility transfers for patients needing higher levels of care to facilities such as Wichita, KS, Topeka, KS, Salina, KS, Kansas City, MO, Omaha, NE and Denver, CO among others.

Heartsaver First Aid and CPR classes and skills check offs-helping our community stay prepared for emergencies. We have certified employees from the hospital, schools, and the Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center-ensuring they are trained and confident in lifesaving skills.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate pre-hospital care to the residents and visitors of Logan County. Our team of highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Advanced EMTs (AEMTs), and paramedics work around the clock to respond to emergencies with skill, professionalism, and integrity.
