The Logan County EMS hybrid EMT/AEMT program is designed to train new Emergency Medical Technicians and Advanced EMTs through a blended learning model. By combining online coursework with hands-on in-person labs and ride-alongs, this format accommodates students who have work, family, and other commitments while ensuring they gain the skills and experience necessary for EMT/AEMT certification.
Key Goals:
Prepare students to meet state EMS certification requirements and National EMS Education Standards.
Provide flexible learning opportunities without sacrificing quality.
Increase the number of reliably trained EMTs to improve emergency medical response.
Thanks to technology such as internet and Zoom, these classes can be made available to people outside of Logan County. Past classes have included students from Comanche County, Thomas County, Meade County, Norton County, and Gove County.
Keep an eye out for any future classes.
