Bob Kelly Retires as EMS Director

Logan County EMS has been shaped by many dedicated professionals over the years, and few have made as lasting an impact as Bob Kelly. Serving the community as both an EMT and Advanced EMT (AEMT), Bob has devoted his career to providing compassionate, reliable emergency medical care to the residents of Logan County and surrounding areas.

In 2010, Bob stepped into the role of Director of Logan County EMS. Over the next fifteen years, he has led the service with integrity, professionalism, and a deep commitment to both patient care and the well-being of the EMS team. Under his leadership, Logan County EMS continued to grow stronger, more prepared, and more focused on excellence in emergency medical response. Bob’s guidance, experience, and dedication set a high standard for leadership and service.

As of December 31, 2025, Bob has retired from his position as Director. While this marks the end of an important chapter in his leadership role, it is not the end of his service to the community. Bob will continue to serve Logan County EMS as an AEMT, remaining on the roster and continuing to provide care.

Coworkers, providers, and community members came together on Tuesday, December 30th to wish Bob well and thank you for his commitment to the residents of Logan County, surrounding counties and anyone who may just need a bit of help along their journey through the area.

We are deeply grateful for Bob’s years of leadership, dedication, and service. His impact on Logan County EMS extends far beyond his title, and his legacy will continue in the people he has mentored, the lives he has touched, and the example he sets every day. We look forward to continuing to serve alongside him in this next chapter.
